Termy covers local authority schools across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland for 2026–27 and 2027–28. If your school is an academy or private school with different dates, you can enter your own dates manually.
Absolutely. Termy shows you exactly how many days leave you need each term and flags any days that will need childcare, holiday clubs, grandparents, or a childminder. It also spreads your leave across the whole year so you never run out before summer.

Yes, automatically. UK bank holidays are built into Termy and never counted as annual leave days. So if a school holiday falls partly over Easter bank holidays, Termy only counts the working days you actually need to book off.
Yes. If your days change week to week, set that caregiver to "No fixed pattern" and Termy stops trying to auto-assign their leave. Instead, you book their specific days yourself as your rota lands, and Termy still tracks their balance and flags anything overbooked, exactly like it does for a fixed weekly pattern.
Termy works in days only. If your leave is tracked in hours, you can convert your entitlement to days - divide your total hours by your contracted daily hours (e.g. 168 hours ÷ 7.5 hours = 22.4 days). It's not perfect but works well enough for planning purposes.
Yes. Instead of a generic "Holiday 1", give any family trip a real name - Portugal, Centre Parcs, whatever it actually is. That name carries through everywhere it appears: the calendar, your exports, and the PDF you'd share with school or work.
